RESULTS OF FIRST TIER SCREENING OF ALTERNATIVES (TIER 1)

In this first stage of evaluation, the alignment that runs along PR-22 has been recommended. The other alternatives were discarded due to their expensive acquisition requirements for additional right of way, expensive utilities-relocation works, and their high potential impact on traffic. In the second evaluation of alternatives (Tier 2), each transit technology will be evaluated in detail within the alignment through PR-22.
